Every year, our campsite welcomes you to Le Sauze-du-Lac, in an unspoilt natural setting between lake, mountains and sunshine. Located close to Chorges, Embrun, Savines-le-Lac and Barcelonnette, our family campsite is the ideal starting point for exploring the Hautes-Alpes and taking full advantage of the Serre-Ponçon lake.
Here, your vacations take on a real taste of freedom. You'll stay in the heart of a small green park, away from the big campsites of the Côte d'Azur, but with all the comforts and services you'd expect. Our campsite combines the nature of the Alps with the warm spirit of Provence. From your mobile home or pitch, you have easy access to all lakeside activities.
An ideal location between Chorges, Embrun and Chanteloube Bay
Just a few kilometers from Chorges, our campsite is within easy reach of the lake's beaches, marinas and Provencal markets. The shores of Chanteloube Bay are perfect for a lazy day or a picnic with your feet in the water. For nature lovers, the trails around Lac de Serre-Ponçon are perfect for walking or cycling.
On the Embrun side, there's no shortage of activities: water sports, windsurfing, paddle-boarding and a supervised beach for children. From our campsite, you can access all these experiences in just a few minutes. At the end of the day, return to the campsite swimming pool for some family fun.
Your camping vacation in the Hautes-Alpes region offers a wide range of activities. Take a stroll to Barcelonnette for its mountain atmosphere and typical villages. Enjoy the shores of the lake at Savines-le-Lac, or a boat trip from Baie Saint-Michel. Provence is at your feet, with its lavender fields, local produce and generous climate.

We're open from May to September, so you can enjoy spring bridges and summer vacations alike. The campsite remains on a human scale, with simple, efficient services. Wifi, catering, bread and groceries - everything is provided to make your vacation stress-free.
